Badges

You can also see your badges on the isecretshop app, after logging in, on the middle area of the top of the screen : you'll see bases with numbers in them. If you just click on any of them, a new screen will open in the app and show you how far away you are from the next badge level for each badge you've received.

Education is key...

Thanks so much for the links, Wendy! I agree with Patrick ; it would be nice to have more courses available through isecretshop. I'd definitely pay for them through this company that way I know I'd benefit from passing the courses.

Referrals??

Hi Ivan, I recruited someone who confirmed to me that they used my referral link. I never got a badge though. I'm wondering if I only get a badge if after they sign up they have to complete a shop, get it approved and get paid first? Just curious. Thanks!

Hi Temecka,

Tara is right - for referring a friend, a Recruiter badge is awarded. And Michael explained the process of referring above - On the website there is a banner across the top of the screen, and Refer Friends is one tab. When you click it, you will get the 3 different options for referring friends. When they use your referral link to sign up for iSecretShop, you are awarded the badge.

Thanks for asking!

PRO tips, for those who want to be the best shoppers!

Hi all, I actually learned something new rhe other day that I felt I should share and maybe help other new shoppers. I've only been doing secret shopping for isecretshop since last year, and have only recently been doing more than one or two shops per month. I learned that when completing shops, refer to the shop instructions as far as their questions go: a lot of times the questions are vague in the actual shop report, but more detailed in the instructions. One of my most recent reports, I did ask all the questions required in the shop instructions portion, but when I filled out the actual report, I answered the short questions asked in the report I was submitting. It got sent back to me marked incomplete, and the msp commented stating that I was to include all the information requested on the shop assignment. I wasn't quite sure either way since the questions weren't asked outright when completing my report. My mistake. I had all my noted saved, which I highly recommend doing until your report is approved. Luckily, I was given the opportunity to fix my report and resubmit, which I was able to do within minutes since I had all the information they needed. So my suggestion is to keep really good notes, make sure you get all questions answered from the shop instructions, and include all required information requested from the instructions somewhere on your report even if not flat out requested. Hope this made sense!

Figuring it all out

I can recommend reading the instructions for the shop really well and take detailed notes.

I agree 100% Ivan! I've actually gotten a couple phone calls from schedulers recently asking if I could complete a shop, as they noticed I've done them before. I was so excited and grateful to get the extra work.

Weekly Points

I'm confused about the weekly leader board. Someone in my state got 1910 points last week. How is that possible? If you are given 20 points per shop, that would mean that person had to complete 95.5 shops. That doesn't add up either way. Can someone elaborate on how the weekly leaders' points are calculated? I was on it once at like number 4, but I forgot how many shops I did that week. Thank you!

Weekly Points

I hope so! I try to request as many shops as I can each week, hopefully as my reputation rank increases, I'll be able to assign more shops at a time. Thanks for the information Ivan, it's greatly appreciated!
