Airport Badge

Hello,

There is no "Airport" badge in the system that I'm aware of...If you are referring to the one with the icon of an airplane, that's the Globetrotter badge, and it's awarded for completing shop outside of your home state.

Cheers!

Negative score????

That's exactly right! One more thing - if you're applying for some very popular shops (like web/telephone shops, or shops that are easy and fun and well-paying), here's a few things to keep in mind regarding those shops:

First, there is A LOT of demand for some of them. Dozens of shoppers can request each one within hours of the shops being published. Schedulers then review the requests and approve those that are from the most reliable shoppers and that are for the nearest dates (if for example you can request them for any day next week, the first ones to be approved will be those requested for Monday - so make sure to request the soonest dates).

Second - Badges. If you do even one of them, you'll get a badge proving you've had some experience in doing them before, making it more likely the schedulers will give them to you in the future. If you keep doing them, your badge level will increase, and the schedulers will, at a glance, see you've had extensive experience - and be very glad to give them to you again. Of course, new shoppers are not left out, and are whenever possible, given a chance to start off and earn some experience in every type of shop.

You can also try emailing or calling the MSP that posted the shop, and letting their schedulers know that you have requested it and would love the opportunity to do it - it's not guarantied to work, but it's a small extra step you can take if you want to, and that sort of engagement is greatly appreciated by schedulers, and often rewarded. :)

I hope this helps!

Not getting requested assignments

Hi, and welcome!

Shop release dates

Like MFJohnston said, each MSP has multiple clients, with multiple shops of their own, and they all get posted when the clients and MSP determine. As a general rule of thumb, monthly shops are posted about 1 week before the start of the next month, and weekly shops are often posted at the beginning or in the middle of the week, for next week. This is done so the shoppers would have time to see them and assign them. Of course, there are always exceptions.

After a while, you will start to notice patterns in these weekly and monthly shops, as shop for the same clients are often posted at regular intervals.

You can always contact each MSP and inquire about their specific shops and when can you expect them to be posted.

Cheers!

Recording calls - question

Hi There,

There is no need for any special recording software or devices - you simply call the number provided in the guidelines, enter the code (usually it's the shop ID), and your call will be transferred to the appropriate line, and automatically recorded. As soon as you hang up, the call recording will be uploaded automatically into your shop report, so the entire process is really straightforward.

Good luck!

Hello from maine

Hi Tina,

If you want to see more shops, you can set the search distance filter (in the upper-left corner of the Available Shops page on the website, above the map) to 50 or 100 miles, and click the search button (a small magnifying glass symbol in that same row) - that will show you the available shops in the wider area around you.

Cheers!

How can I find my point balance?

Hi Sandra,

Your total shopper score is not shown directly anywhere - it is collected by the system and represented as your Reputation badge rank, and it's progress towards the next level.

This badge is a direct replacement of the old "shopper score" - simply put, you increase it's level by gaining shopper points, which is done by successfully completing shops (every shop done gives you a fixed amount of points), by completing courses on iSSprep, and by doing Opinion Polls on iSecretShop. With every new level of this badge, your self-assign limit will increase, and it may be a small increase at first, but starts increasing exponentially at higher levels (after level 5), allowing you to self-assign over a dozen shops at a time.

I hope this helps!
