So I've done contract work for multiple years and noticed something is missing from ISS. I'm proposing that the schedulers also get rated at payout for the following by the contractors:
1.- Communication
2.- Clarity of instruction for the shop
3.- Acceptance time after shop was submitted for approval
4.- Early/Late Payout
Another site I use has this feature and it gives people expectations before accepting a shop. Things like is it a 14 day pay or 45 day pay? If you contact the scheduler for a question or issue, how quickly do they respond and do they answer your question? ISS through reputation and badges give us a certain ranking for performance so why not do the same for the schedulers we're working with? Just simple questions with a 1-5 rating system so if you've never worked with a certain company before you get an idea as to what you're walking into.
So question is, do you think a rating system for contactors would help you decide which shops to take and would you like to know more about who you're contracting with?
Good idea
