I have both iPhone and Android (Samsung, Galaxy series) and I like them both. I find the iPhone easier to use and a smoother/tighter overall experience. But the Android has some great functionality that is lacking on the iPhone. Both are great devices, but I lean iPhone.
Hello and thank you for your thoughts!
Two things, first, the issue you described happens when a Mystery Shopping Provider sets incorrect scheduling rules on a project. We agree that it is very frustrating and we work with them to understand how to avoid this. However...
We have just implemented a solution, in hopes that shoppers are no longer inconvenienced by it: Now, if an MSP deploys a project that is literally impossible for a shopper to schedule, the opportunity will be hidden until it either is corrected, or it becomes possible to assign again. The thinking is that if no one can schedule or request it, then it shouldn't be there looking like it can.
Hopefully you no longer have to experience that frustration. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!
Hello and thank you for reaching out!
The points system has been replaced with the Badges and Rankings. There are still points, but they apply to specific badge advancement - and they range from everything to overall reputation, to specific industry experience and a lot more.
The points never were "weekly," rather they were (and continue to be) accrued in real time as certain actions occur (submitted shops approved, opinion poll questions answered, certifications passed, etc.).
The Leaderboards changed as well - they now update weekly, and they are at the State level instead of nationally, giving a lot more shoppers a chance to participate - and allowing newly-active shoppers to compete with (and beat) long-time power-shoppers, based on current performance.
We hope you like the changes - we spent a lot of time and energy trying to make the system more accessible to and more enjoyable for the shoppers.
Have a great day!
To elaborate on Meghan's reply above: In many cases, it depends on how the Mystery Shopping Provider published their shops. They may post them as self-assign projects, or they may require requests based on client requirements.
How long each one takes to adjudicate a request is up to the scheduler(s) responsible for that project and location - and we cannot speak on their behalf.
And as Meghan said, if the shop is allowed to self-assign, but you are unable to for another reason (like being at your self-assign limit) you are stillable to request. If the company responsible for the shop you are intereted in has not responded in a reasonable period of time, you may always contact them directly.
Thank you and have a fantastic day!
Thank you so much for calling attention to that! I have alerted the team responsible for the forum and expect it to be addressed and resolved promptly.
Have a wonderful night!
