Either things have changed or I've gotten old, LOL
Looks like I can't just jump right back in. Lots to read and catch up on. First thing is trying to figure out how to change my AOL email to newer email.....AOL was still used back when I first started in MS.
I'm a full time realtor and business is slow in NYC, so giving a shot at MS to keep me busy (not expecting to supplement much income). I'm not the type to sit home doing nothing. There's only so much cooking and cleaning one can do before you start talking to yourself and replying!!
So a big HI to everyone!
Vernalie
Hi Linda,
Being a realtor shouldn't be your main source of income until you have a steady stream of clients (buyers, sellers, tenants, landlords). It can take a few years to lay the groundwork/plant the seeds for repeat business and referrals. It took me 8 years to be able to quit my job as a dental hygienist (worked 3 days a week for steady income). Now I have a steady stream of clients and although I don't get a paycheck every month!, the numbers work. The best part is not having to wake up early, no mass transit commuting, flexible schedule to take midday naps!! LOL

Hello Vernalie,
Welcome back! Being a realtor really is a feast or famine kind of job, isn't it?
