Well after the fiasco of switching to this platform in January\February I was not surprised to see they were no longer on the list of companies.

I would not be surprised if\when they come back they switch back to Quest as though it was buggy at least it was easy to use (for me) and seemed to be efficient.

Also they have lost a major hotel chain (they have been taken over by Best Western-who do their own in house audits).

Another smaller hotel group have gone bust so Sm have lost another set of hotels.

Another hotel chain stopped the MS visits except for the 4 in London.

I do hope they survive as for me they were on of the best for me.

I really hope SM come back. I found this platform worked well after the initial teething issues and would be happy to see them return. Quest was fine but I don’t miss the emails at 3am!

I believe Hallmark was taken over by BW earlier this year.

Shearings have gone (around 45 hotels under Bay, Coast & Country, Country Living brands) the owner Specialist Leisure Group has gone into administration.

I’m not sure which group has stopped apart from the ones in London but would be interested to know.

I did not mention any names as I thought that was a No-No.

However all above is true.

The London ones are "12 men and true" (and their sub group-the male lead in Titanic) and I saw they are opening late this month after closing for Covid

I don't think there will be a specific "Hey we're back!" email, but the standard Available Shops emails which are periodically sent should start including SM shops in your proximity once they become available. Checking the Available Shops page is always the best option :)

Not sure how you can say that as SM are missing from the Provider Contract and Policies so I'm reading that as they are no longer part of this Portal?

The best way to search for available jobs is via the Internet portal.

You can do this via the App by clicking on the iSS Website icon.

Once you are logged in then you need to activate the Sidebar menu by touching the Blue and white icon which should be in the top Left Hand side on the Menu

Once this sidebar is open you should see an icon that look like a wrapped present (has a bow on the top of box.)

Tap this and it opens the Available Shops menu

Here you can increase the Distance filter to 250KM

Enter a city

Leave the rest as is.

Then Search

If you try this now with FARNHAM as a city you will find a shop.

Also:

If you search for ENGLAND or WALES or Scotland you should see all the jobs for those countries.

Try Scotland and see what comes up (two jobs in Edinburgh)

The APP itself has it's uses but it is NOT good for searching unless you go via the Internet as I have just described.

Well, the August client has been posted and all are gone.

Another client may be coming but they are struggling to get trained staff so are delaying the visits.

Some more bad news.

AFAIK there is no way to get notifications about up to date jobs on the board, so you have to look on a frequent basis.

Hotels are on the board.

More hotels "should " be out today but who knows. At least there are a few clients now

There is a FB forum where SM now post job availability as they've probably realised this Iss web site is useless.

As predicted Hotels are now on the board.

As predicted, no-one reads this forum!
