I have been mystery shopping for over 20 years now. Worst MSP was a company about 10 years ago that went bankrupt! No payments were made for a bunch of shops completed.
No need to worry now. MSP usually acquired by another MSP long before this happens.
Sher - I have mystery shopping for over 20 years as well! Some of my first mystery shops were paper based and had to mail the results back. They were slowing converting each client to the Internet! LOL Best mystery shop was a Luau while on vacation in Hawaii! :-) Worst mystery shop was a health inspection shop for a variety store. :-(
Has anyone completed revealed mystery shops? I try to avoid these but have done some in the past. The best ones are the ones where you get to give the employee a gift. Some reactions are funny. One guy didn't pass and tried to bribe me with a slush to change the results! :-)
Congrats on being cancer-free! I'm in Ontario as well. Not many shops currently due to the pandemic but I'm sure will start picking up once vacinnes start rolling out.
#1 tip from me is read the instructions carefully! Even if you done the shop before, they requirement can change.
Going to Vegas is torture on me as I can't complete any shops. I have completed casino mystery shops before but not in Nevada. As Ivan said, you must be an employed by the MSP in Nevada to complete any shops.
I think you were asking me where I completed casino mystery shops. Pre-covid there was a bunch in Upper New York state. No mystery shopping there with the boarder closed. :-( These are very detailed and would only recommend for an experienced mystery shopper. You need names, exact timings, slot and table location numbers and some acting skills.
Yikes - that has happened to me. My photos did not turn out so I had to go back and take them again. :-(
Hardest revel mystery shop I did was at an amusement park. I did get free admission and parking but very hard to do as you had to go back and find the manager to reveal the results for five different locations scattered throughout the park. I was very busy for the day.
Russell - I did those tobacco reveal shops once as was paid a bonus. It was so easy to pass and most employees were happy getting a gift card.
