@Carol: There is a lot of good advice responding to your post. The best thing I can add is always let your scheduler know what is going on, as well as the editor that is asking you to make changes. If you cannot get back into the report and there is no button to Un-Finalize, then sending the requested information to the editor in an email will be the next best thing. Keeping your scheduler in the loop lets them know you are actively working on completing the report and they will not accidentally reassign it to someone else.

Both the editor and scheduler will know how to get back into the report. Just ask them.
