I was calling a cremation place and the person I needed to talk to was not available. I gave the receptionist the assisted living community my family member was at. Since the phone call had to be recorder, I did not answer their return call, so they called the place my "family member" was at and obviously there was not a person there with that name. When I called the cremation place back, they said there was nobody there with that name. I hung up on them and have not done a cremation call since.
I told a valet I was meeting my sister. It was a cold and windy day, so the valet was waiting in the lobby until they saw a car pull up. I sat in a big oversized chair that I could hide in, but I am pretty sure they caught a glimpse of me with no sister. But I will do that valet shop any time I get the chance, because the hotel has great food and I get a full reimbursement for parking and food. I can't wait to take my kids back to Comi-Con.
It gets so much easier. You will get many denials before you get approved. Try post office shops if they are available near you. They are quick and easy. Don't forget to look for phone jobs. More easy ones to get your score up to be approved for the bigger shops. Don't get discouraged. It took me a few months of denials and only a few shops before I started to get approved for most of the shops I apply for. I work across multiple platforms, but I made over $2,000 last month. Don't forget to check credit and debit cards for cash back offered you can use while shopping if your shop requires a purchase. My PayPal debit card offers cash back on restaurants, clothing and even gas. All.secret shops. I made over $50 from the restaurants on that one alone. My husband and I have even talked about secret shopping being my full time job. You can always look for shops in other cities while you are on vacation or other travels. Keep with and stay safe.
