Downstocking Question

Hi - I'm so new that I'm still trying to navigate before going out into the shopping world. I've been seeing things about "down stocking" in reference to big stores ie Best Buy. What exactly is the shopper expected to do? When I was in retail, it meant to pull stuff that isn't selling off the shelves for either a clearance bin or return to warehouse. Sorry if this has been asked and answered. I searched but didn't find anything.

CIRRUS Not Paying

Not that I am glad this is happening to anyone else, but this is really uncool. My report was accepted on 3/11. They are supposed to pay 45 days after approval according to the Independent Contractor's Agreement. My completed and accepted shop has completely disappeared off iSS...even in the announcement section. This was only my 3rd shop ever. Ironically, a shop they canceled, rescheduled, and canceled again on me and gave me -20 for failing to complete is still there.

This shop I could get no response from the apartment complex at all let alone the target. I communicated this to the scheduler and she reassigned it to me saying that the system cancels on it's own. Less than 24 hours after it was reassigned, the same thing happened. Then I was "awarded" negative 20 points for my troubles. I got in touch with the assignor, who said she'd reverse that, but it was never done. When the shop I was able to complete was accepted, I was awarded 20 points, but I was back to zero. I sent 5 emails to the person with whom I'd been communicating about fixing the rating, but I never got reply and now apparently, I won't get paid. Thank goodness I listened to my intuition and did not do another shop for them. And thankfully, all the rest of the companies I have worked with have been great, most even paying before expected.

I have an email in to them. I'll post with any updates. Good luck everyone!

Unfriended by Cirrus for holding them to their own MSP

I am going to contact the BBB because apparently that is the only way to get paid. When you wait 90 days for a $35 apartment shop, by the time you get the money, it's like you did the shop for free. There are plenty of higher paying, less time consuming jobs, with better MSPs who pay 45 days maximum. iSS really should not allow them to advertise their jobs here. Cirrus was my 3rd job ever and I am so glad that they did something really weird with another job I was supposed to do and I had already decided not to do any more work for them. They are completely unorganized and apparently unethical as well.

Cirrus Update

Many of us have been posting about Cirrus and payment issues. I did finally get paid today after calling and leaving a message for Monie Howard yesterday. She called me back immediately and I was paid today. My suggestion is to bypass sending an email to client care and contact the scheduler directly. Based on other threads, I thought I was going to have to get extra firm and possibly contact the BBB or something, but everything was handled with the one phone call.

AI is alive and evil and I'm a little mortified!

When I leave a shop, I immediately dictate notes regarding the shop for me to review when I fill out the questionnaire later. I do this while I'm driving to the next shop. Apparently, Siri was having a bad day or really wanted to screw with me (AI is living and evil--check out Westworld on HBO) and that witch sent my dictation as a response to the text message I received from that shop thanking me for my visit. So, yah, my entire and completely awkward dictation got sent to the shop.
