Hello everyone, first time doing secret shopping so not too sure what to expect. I have my first shop this Tuesday :)
I am still very new to all of this secret shopper experience. I have already completed and received approval for payment for one shop, and I understand that you can only self assign two jobs at a time. But when I tried to request another job, another two actually, they did not show up in my requested shops. I tried to request another one and that one got accepted right away. Can someone please explain why that is? Do I have to be at a certain level before being considered for specific shops? And if so, how can I see the criteria for them?
TIA
I just saw them under Requests! I was looking for them in my assigned shops...Does anyone know how long it usually takes before they are assigned?
Hi all!
I used to be able to self-assign at least two shops at a time, but now I am unable to even self-assign one. The shops are submitted for review first, and these are the same shops that I used to self-assign before. Has this happend to anyone else? I get them assigned to me anyways, and lately more than two at a time, but just curious as to what might have caused me to not be able to self-assign shops...any thoughts?
I wanted to add that I have two assignments submitted and pending approval and one assignment that is scheduled. I am wondering if this might be the cause?
TIA
Ah that makes sense. There were numerous assignments under these shops...
Thank you!
Hi Lisa,
Have you tried other mystery shopping companies besides this one? It sounds like you are only searching within this app and as a few have mentioned above, there are a lot of other companies besides this one that may have shops available to you. There are no shops available within this site for me as well, but I have other sites that I am registered with that have opportunities for shops. You will not get rich mystery shopping (at least I won't). For me, it is extra money on the side...
Good luck,
Tina
Hi Gloria,
Check out Mysteryshopforum.com . There is lots of information on other companies there. That's where I started searching for other companies that that I could shop for that have opportunities in my area :)
Hello friends!
I have a shop this coming weekend at a furniture store with a specific employee I am supposed to evaluate. I am stressing about this one because I have no idea how to make him be the one to approach me. I have his photo, so I know what he looks like but how do I go about evaluating him? What if another employee approaches me first? I usually go into shops with an idea of what scenario I use, but I don't know how to go about this one. Does anyone have any experience with these types of shops where they have a specific employee to evaluate in a store setting? I am even thinking about cancelling this shop because I don't know if I can pull it off.
TIA
Tina
