I did shops like this when I first started. I did a shop for $20 over the summer, and got paid $75 to do the same shop today. It's fine to build up your reputation and learn. I would never do a $9 phone shop now though.

If you are intimidated by BMW shops, the Lambo shop is on another level. Do what you are comfortable with. That shop has a 100k income requirement and that you drive to it in a luxury vehicle. My husband did the shop. We are in a higher tax bracket and meet the demographic, so it was natural, not forced.
