I'd be more concerned if the same person reviewed my report(s). I regularly drop off circled errors to my local newspaper, I also write for them, so with one hand I'm complaining and with the other: picking up my cheque. Awe, look at that, this site is using a USA dictionary. Cheque is correct for Canadians.
Some assignment guidelines have been butchered - I anticipate the first ones of the summer - due to so many revisions and the number of people who work on them. So, I pick one error and complain, just to give my feedback.
My family says that the first couple years of mystery shopping were like I had an expensive new hobby. Frequently I was out of pocket more than I earned. Sometimes I made hundreds (an audit 3 hours from another shop!), most times I earned nothing more than free product. My husband has learned that I am probably the only person he will ever know who gets happy about having a legitimate reason to complain at hotels, and restaurants. Learning to keep a record of mileage, fuel cost, and purchase/payment will cure anyone of the illusion they are making easy money. Especially when mystery shopping - I work the scenario or it will cost me more! Today, I'm 15 years as "a grateful member of the underground economy" and proud to be doing the work I do. I claim 65% of my cash earning on my taxes, and enjoy a good relationship with several schedulers. If you find that your reports are getting both low and high grades you can ask the scheduler to not score you below a minimum - which you swear you can maintain - to allow you to improve. I advise you to be honest with your family (but not to tell all your friends), let them laugh, one day they will embrace your opportunities with interest and affection.
I use google maps. Though I do have to break a long road trip into parts, but day to day has worked well enough.
When you aren't working, go into the stores/restaurants/Gas stations just to listen for how customers are treated at the checkout. Our client questionnaires will include expectations that are not easy to perceive in just one visit.
You know those daily schedules you had in high school? Make one for yourself every few weeks. Add to it while you're living it!
I keep a file of previous schedules which I made for specific cities.
First of all, you are uploading not downloading your photograph to the app.
Technical difficulties are a valid reason for late submissions...unless you say, "I'll get it to you by 8am tomorrow!" but then send it at 8pm instead.
Oh no! Several gas bars are building display cabinets for water pipes. Will this require a comment?
I keep an excel work sheet so I can watch reimbursements and my costs that are associated with the fee paid. I fill in every day of at least, one month each year so I have a baseline.
I wear a badge and lift it up in their direction while flashing a tired smile. They’ve nodded and left me alone. Sorry to hear they want to follow you!
