So I got accepted for the Lamborghini shop. Very intimidating to say the least. I just did the bmw shop and that was ruthless they acted like i didn't exist. I'm a 40yr old man. I was dressed nice nothing fancy wasn't trying to stand out to say the least. But if I got treated that way there, what will happen here maybe I can do something different any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Wow! I wish they had those shops in my area. Have done Porsche. Lamborghini -- perhaps you need to be slightly flashy??? Act full of yourself?? Or am I stereotyping? Think not.

Wow that's an amazing shop.

Here's something to help with the confidence to pull it off: Just think to yourself - at the end of the day, the way those people at Lamborghini treat you will have more of an impact on their jobs than they way they treat ANY random millionaire that walks in. So, you go there knowing that you should be treated like royalty. And if they don't treat you like such, just give them the look. You know, look at them like you're gonna buy the entire dealership just so you could fire them :)

Yeah they acted like I expected. I think the guy asked more questions on where I get my money than anything else and he didnt act like he wanted to sell me anything someone is gonna get chewed

Thanks for letting us know how it went, John!

Sounds like that salesman needs retraining. LOL

I don't know what the shop guidelines are. Are you required to pretend that you're a particular type of businessman with XXX annual income? If not, then my suggestion would be to act natural. Show how excited you are to finally be able to afford your dream XXX because you've come into a lot of money (inherited, won lottery, etc). That way, even if you're not wearing the right clothes, watch and shoes, it won't be odd. I'm sure any good salesman will be more than happy to help you spend your newly acquired fortune. :)

Don't worry about it too much John. Shocking, I drive a Mazda and get way better service at the dealership then my partner who used to drive a BMW. The service was awful there. That is why they need mystery shoppers like us!

If you are intimidated by BMW shops, the Lambo shop is on another level. Do what you are comfortable with. That shop has a 100k income requirement and that you drive to it in a luxury vehicle. My husband did the shop. We are in a higher tax bracket and meet the demographic, so it was natural, not forced.
