Caught in a lie at my mystery shop

Yeah, pretending another company if you can get away with it. In the end with mystery shopping, it's always best to go to the source. Either the MSP or ISS. In my opinion.

I just did a cell phone shop today and I should have come to the forum first. I did actually leave my cellphone along with my ID at home and not on purpose but I did leave my contact information. So, I will be fielding phone calls for a while. I have to remember some of these ideas for the next one. Thanks everyone!

I do several of these, I love them and you get credit as soon as the shop is submitted.

Well a week ago I did a secret shop where it was a credit card sign up and you do give your ID. The rep was taken by my career and said she was looking for work in that field, she then gave me her business card (from another employer) and took out a 2nd card and wrote down my personal info from her application.

Now during the secret shop she also failed to delete my info from the electronic application in front of me! Does this mean I have to monitor my credit for life?

Luckily ISS reached out for more info, but...wow!

Sure I tell my kids Santa is watching, I tell myself I'll go to the gym tonight and other items that become lies; but I think the risk of "personal info" is MUCH MUCH WORSE.

When I did these before I carried in a cell phone with a cracked screen.

Was doing a shop several years ago. It was about IPhones and I was talking to the rep and I showed him my screen and it was completely dark and wasn’t turning on. I told him I needed to make a call but it wasn’t working. He gave me about the worst answer you could ever get at a mobile store. Go down the street and use a pay phone. Never mind that there wasn’t one the answer caught me totally off guard. Like really go use a pay phone to call about my phone that wasn’t working that I had purchased there. You never know what some sales reps will say.
