Hey everyone!! Happy Sunday ! So I’m really well you can say VERY new to this app ,and mystery shopping in general. I downloaded the app and decided to give it a try. I scheduled myself for 2 shops but unfortunately due to a family emergency and being really under the weather I had to cancel the shops. Right after i scrolled to the top and that’s when I seen my points were in the negative I wanted to know the purpose of the points and can you or someone explain to me how i go about fixing this !also are there any shops coming up that require travel or hotel motel stays ? When is the best time to look up for new shop work

thank you

The way to improve your "points" is to successfully complete assignments. Every time you do, your points go up. Every time you fail to complete a shop or reschedule, you lose points. If you have "negative" points, it will be more difficult to get assigned shops in the first place. (Basically, every time you are unable to complete a shop, for whatever reason, the scheduler has to find somebody else to do it - which often means missing their deadlines and/or having to offer another shoppers a sizable bonus to get it done last-minute. Your reliability is everything in this industry.

Hello,

It is important to keep your score up so you are able to self assign shops and be eligible for more shops.

You lose points by canceling shops you have been assigned to do or doing a poor job on evaluations.

If you have a low score, you can bring your score up by going to http://issprep.com and completing any available courses there. Most of the time there is just one or two courses available but sometimes we will have more.

If you are looking to reverse past point losses - that is up to the Mystery Shopping Provider you contracted with for you assignment. iSecretShop does not change points that are awarded or subtracted for assignment specific reasons.

This is how the system works generally speaking:

-Once you log into iSecretShop, go to the "Available Shops" page, and browse the shops that are posted.

-When you see the one you are interested in, you click "View Details" and it will open a pop-up window with all the information on the shop.

-Then, you can either self-assign that shop or click "Request shop" to submit a request for a specific date. The schedulers are frequently reviewing these requests, so it should be approved soon.

If you are at any point prompted to do the following - please do, it is necessary in order to be able to do shops:

*Sign the iSecretShop Terms of Use or the Mystery Shopping Provider's contract - you can do so on the "Provider Contracts and Policies" page.

*Enter your PayPal email address - you can do that on the "Update Extended Profile" page.

-Once you have a shop assigned to you, you can always view it on the "Assigned Shops" page - there you can see all shops you have assigned, and can click "Complete Shop" on any of them to see the full shop information, the shop instructions, the question, or/and fill out the shop report.

-When you are done filling out the shop report - you click "Finalize Shop" to submit it - it will be reviewed by editors and either approved or returned to you for additional information (if so, it will appear back in your "Assigned Shops" page).

So, this is how the process generally works on a PC, but the app is pretty similar too.

If you have any specific questions about some particular part of all this, I suggest opening a support ticket through the iSecretShop website or app, and you'll get a response pretty quickly.
