Hi Brittany! Welcome to the shopping fold!

Keep in mind that iSecretShop is not a company (per se) they are merely the technology platform for finding and submitting your mystery shops. You work as an independent contractor with the mystery shop companies themselves, but this application makes it very easy to link up with many of them. As such, each mystery shop company, be it Insight, Goodwin, CampusFeedback, etc are the ones that pay you, and they each have different payment rules outlined in the MSA you'll need to sign for each as you start requesting shops.

In the 15 years of doing this, I've never had a concern about getting paid. And this application makes it easy to track who's paid you, so you know what is still owed. Regardless, most of these shops are only worth $10 or so, nothing to worry about getting paid fast on :).

Regarding Paypal... if you haven't already, make sure you set up an account at Paypal.com, link it up to your checking account (which lets you transfer your escrow account funds to your checking account for free) and you'll be all set.

Pro Tip: I typically leave all my Mystery Shop earnings in my Paypal account so I can use it for fun things like ebay purchases or giving money to friends for dinners :-)

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Michael

I probably wouldn't have said it better myself Michael, you are completely right!

iSecretShop is a software company and a "job board" for shops, and the MSPs are the ones paying you for the shops that you do.

Regarding PayPal, I'd just like to add that it's necessary for you to enter your PayPal email address in your profile information on iSecretShop. To do that, simply log in to iSecretShop (website, app or mobile site), click Extended Profile. Once in, scroll until you see the field called "PayPal Email," enter the correct information and Save.

Thanks!
