Each mystery shop is different.

Normally payment is made during the month following the date you completed the shop such as the last day of the next month or the 15th of the following month.

I typically see payment 4-6 weeks after I complete a mystery shop.

Yes, that's right - and every MSP has their own payment policies, so you should always directly contact the MSP that posted the shop for any questions regarding payments :)

I am wondering about the MSP that stated payment is sent 45 days after completion. Is that 45 total days or business days? I checked my invoice and used that date to count 45 total days, and I should have been paid but haven't. I did email the MSP but haven't received a response yet. Maybe someone has experienced this and can enlighten me as to what exactly 45 days means.

I honestly don't know - but if the MSP is not replying, you can try opening a support ticket and asking iSecretShop to provide you with additional MSP contact info - like a phone number, or an official email address for shoppers support. The response time for those tickets is usually under an hour or 2, depending on the time of day.

I've been a part time shopper for about 4 years. 2 points from lessons learned about getting paid. 1. Read each Independent Contractor Agreement! They all look pretty much the same but each usually lists when you can expect to get paid. Some may say 45 days from the end of the month in which a shop is performed. That could mean you won't be paid for 2 months or more. 2. Again, read the agreement carefully so you wont make the same mistake I did. By signing most agreements, you're acknowledging that you have a 1099. However, some require that you either email or mail it to them. After 2 months of not getting paid from one company, I went back and found my mistake. Within 1 week of sending in my 1099, my payment was in my PayPal.

I can't seem to find where I can see my payment information, because they said I was paid but it's not in my account.
