I just completed my first shop and then realized that my birthdate is incorrect. The month and year are fine but the day is not. I have been looking for a way to contact someone to fix it. I thank anyone in advance for whatever information you provide.

Hi Carletta,

Is your birthday wrong in your iSS registration or in the shop you just completed? If it's incorrect on your shop report just email the MSP who you did the shop for or look under your submitted shops and if it still says "pending" you may be able to unfinalize it and fix it. If it's in your registration, create a ticket in the app and let them know. They'll let you know how to fix it. Good luck!

It's wrong in the registration and I cannot figure out how to open a ticket. I have been looking around the app.

I just did a cell phone shop today and I should have come to the forum first. I did actually leave my cellphone along with my ID at home and not on purpose but I did leave my contact information. So, I will be fielding phone calls for a while. I have to remember some of these ideas for the next one. Thanks everyone!

So I attempt an unannounced audit of marketing material for Commenity Bank at a local jewelry store. I walk in and ask for the manager. I was told that the manager was not there, so I ask who would be in charge in his or her absence. One young lady steps up and asks how she can help me. I show her the memo from Commenity Bank authorizing the audit and all hell breaks lose. Now, she no longer wants anything to do with the audit. I explain that I am only looking at the credit card application to verify that the most current version is being used. Next thing I know, that manager is on the phone demanding to know who I am and who sent me there. He states that he knew nothing about an audit and asked me could I come back at a later date, so he can investigate. He instructs his employees to retrieve any information that they gave to me and escort me from the store. I left but explained that I needed to take a photo of the front of the store as proof that I attempted the shop. I thought that they were going to call Mall Security on me. I guess that I will avoid jewelry stores in the future...geez!!! Once I got to my car, all I could do was laugh about the experience!!!!

I actually called while I was there. She told me to make sure that I had a picture and that I would still get paid.

I have noticed that a lot of shops are due by midnight (PST) on the day of the shop. I would reach out to the contact for additional details.

From what I have been able to learn, you earn points when you submit shops. The more points you earn, the higher your ranking which enables you to more shop opportunities.

Make sure that you have accepted all of the agreements for each company. I had a similar problem when I first started and I finally figured out that I had to accept all of the agreements as well as the Terms from ISS. I was really nervous at first and afraid that I would not make much money. I have completed several shops now and am waiting for my first payment very soon. I hope that you stick with it!

Not sure Ivan. I was really surprised at the response. Although, this store did not have ANY brochures from Commenity visible. They actually went to a back office to FIND some. I think that that was more than likely the reason that I got kicked out :-)

I am trying another one this week coming...we'll see what I post about it :-)
