I've done several of these shops w/ no problem. Only time anything out of the ordinary happened is when the instructions said to ask for a copy of the buckslip. I had never heard of it before. (or never heard of anything called that). I read verbatim from the instructions and it took the manager about 10-15 minutes (while i was doing everything else) to figure out what it was, and then said that they hadn't used it in about two years.
Is there a rule-of-thumb that anyone uses to determine distance pay you ask for? I don't want to ask too little ....but not too much either.
Thanks
Was that the total..$5.00...or was there reimbursed for purchases as well. I used to do the grocery store shops where they reimbursed 12.00 of grocery purchase...sometimes requiring at least one specific item. But...it did get to be too much for too little.
I recently saw a shop listed, don't remember the location (except that it was not close to me). It was for a strip club that came complete with a minimum of two drinks and 3 lap dances. Doing shops for several years, I've never seen strip club shops before. I haven't been to any of the adult establishments for several years now, so I am don't think I would have done it...
But has anyone ever seen or done a shop like this?
There are many....not necessarily on this platform. And a lot of times, if it is getting close to deadline, ( and kind of remote) you can always ask the scheduler.
I had a shop in downstate IL last month, a gas station convenience store, and it literally had 3 legitimate addresses. The MSC gave me one address, on the building it had another, and the receipt had a third address. What I did is make sure I had pictures showing the overall station and the address on the building. (The manager could not explain it either.) I went into detail on the report and explained it as best I could, and it was accepted.
For reasons I won't go into here, I had to stop doing shops for three years, and not one of the companies deactivated my account. When I was able to start again,,,all I did was log in...update my account....and shop on.
Lot of casino shops out there not in Nevada. Anywhere there is legal casinos, eventually there will be shops. I did one about two years ago. Great time.

Have you done any in California?
Is there a particular reason Nevada regulates mystery shopping?
Probably because they can. Want their hands in anything they can so they can make money.
:Most places that I have seen and have been approved for just ask for X amount of PAD. Even if its not that far...most times they will ok it just because of the urgency of the shop. More like a bonus. I have done routes where I will be gone from home for 3-4 days at a time...I will not ask for PAD but an increased amount per location, because (depending on type of job) I can do 6-7 (and in a couple instances...more) in a day. It probably means going maybe 20 miles in between shops. Mainly in rural areas, like downstate Illinois or south central Missouri. I recently did, however) complete 15 shops in a major city in two day. Yeah, I had to get a hotel for one night, but easy to find a inexpensive place to stay.
