I had this issue with a shop recently too. I reached out to the scheduler by email and they manually scheduled it for me :)
Hi Jennifer,
Welcome to the community. Since you are just starting off, keep a few things in mind. You can only do one shop at a time to start with, so if you request a bunch of shops at once, probably most of them will be declined to give you only one. Until you build up your reputation rank, you may need to complete several lower-paying or "less fun" shops first, so try applying for things like that. Also, I don't think requests are processed at all during weekends and during the week it may even take a few days, so be patient. Good luck!

Hello, I am thrilled to be a part of this new and exciting journey in my life. In the past I have seen T.V. shows that display a group of people around a table having food and conversation. Then, talking about their experience. I have always said " I want to do that". So, I am ready to do that!. Wish me luck on my new venture!

Welcome and good luck Dora! I hope you're having as much fun as I am :)
I keep a spreadsheet too. I have columns for the MSP and their payment policy, and what the status of each shop is, e.g. "approved", "paid", etc. I have not had any issues with a payment not meeting the schedule outlined in the agreement.
I haven't had any issues with any MSPs, but I did just have an especially good experience with Intouch Insight. I did 5 shops for them in 2 days, and they were super duper easy and all got approved right away, and I think they pay the fastest.
I do try to grab those fancy, complicated dinner shops whenever I can though! Totally worth it. Can anyone say free date night? :D
I did send a question to technical support about this once. I didn't receive a recruiter badge after referring someone who already started shopping. The first response they sent to me looked like they didn't even read my question. I had to reopen the issue, and they just assigned the badge for me but I still can't see the people I referred. I have also done multiple shops in categories that have badges listed, but I wasn't awarded the badge. I didn't know if I should even bother saying something about that :-/
I've done adult stores before, it was fun. Literally no different than any other retail situation. Just follow your instructions and you'll be fine :)
I remember being nervous when I was new too! It gets easier really fast once you get out there, I promise.
I found a few things helpful when starting out... I took shops that did not require me to spend a bunch of money up front, just in case I messed up. I parked far away from the entrance and did a last minute review of the instructions on my phone before going inside.
I also frequently record audio using my smartphone. I do live in a 2 party state, but these conversations are recorded in public places. Also I think a lot of employees had to agree to being recorded when hired due to cameras in the locations and recorded phone lines? So I'm not a lawyer, but I'm not worried about it. It's just for my own notes in case I forget anything.
I got an email the other day requesting that I do a shop about 2,500 miles away from me haha
I emailed the scheduler and let them know. It was just a computer glitch! I would definitely contact them and let them know.
Sometimes you will get offers from places far away, but it's usually because they are reaching a deadline and cannot find anyone to do it. They will tell you that this is the case and usually offer or entertain a reasonable bonus to cover travel expenses.
