I'm new again.  I used to try this before but every time I check my email and go in to get an assignment, it always tells me that there is none available.  Feeling rather defeated as I go in the same day and sometimes shortly after receiving email. I would appreciate some assistance.  Thanks in advance.  I gave up before for the same reason so.....

Don't wait for emails to come out. Check the website briefly each morning or evening and you are likely to see assignment before they are advertised over email.

Also, if there is no work in your area at all, it might be worth while to look outside of iSS for shops. iSS is great, but only represents a small fraction of mystery shopping companies.

Try changing the radius range over the map and search again. The default is only 25 miles. There are not a lot of shops anywhere in Canada right now as we are generally limited to one company (as far as I know), on this platform and most of them have been taken for May. However, I took a look and there are some within a reasonable distance of where you are. Also try looking the last week and the first week of the month. They are usually released the last week and some into the first week.

What ither shopping companies do you reccommend?

The companies that use iSS financially support this forum, so I do not like to recommend other companies on this particular forum. However, if you check out a different forum (MysteryShopForum), you can widen your knowledge of the mystery shopping world and learn a lot about the industry- which can help you whether you are working with iSS companies or others.

As Wendy said - if you want to see more shops, you can set the search distance filter (in the upper-left corner of the Available Shops page, above the map) to 50 or 100 miles, and click the search button (a small magnifying glass symbol in that same row) - that will show you the available shops in the wider area around you. You can also search by city or zip to see shops in that particular area.

Of course, as MFJohnston said, not all MSPs post shops on iSS, so if you can't find anything on iSecretShop, you can check out that forum (or other ones) to look for alternatives :)

Check on iSS website for current listings. Don't just limit it email or text. Shops can go fast before you know it. Best method for searching is going right to the source, iSS, or other sites because not all MSPs use iSecretShop. Happy shopping.
