Every date returns error, "Shopper has scheduled [date] - Please schedule more than 2 day(s) apart."

I tried to apply for a jewelry store phone shop, but every date I picked returned the error, "Another shopper has scheduled [date] - Please schedule more than 2 day(s) apart." I went through the whole calendar for the date range given, but repeatedly got that error. This was a frustrating waste of time.

It would be helpful to shoppers if the calendar picker only showed available dates, please.

Hello and thank you for your thoughts!

Two things, first, the issue you described happens when a Mystery Shopping Provider sets incorrect scheduling rules on a project. We agree that it is very frustrating and we work with them to understand how to avoid this. However...

We have just implemented a solution, in hopes that shoppers are no longer inconvenienced by it: Now, if an MSP deploys a project that is literally impossible for a shopper to schedule, the opportunity will be hidden until it either is corrected, or it becomes possible to assign again. The thinking is that if no one can schedule or request it, then it shouldn't be there looking like it can.

Hopefully you no longer have to experience that frustration. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!

I was having that issue too. I reached out to the MSP directly to get scheduled. But it's good to know that this problem is being rectified.

I have had this problem for a while and just had it happen again a couple of days ago, so I wonder when the issue will be rectified. I'm wondering if it would be better to create multiple shops that have to be completed on a specific day so that the MSP could get the number of shops they want completed while providing a way for shoppers to know what is truly available.

When you contacted the MSP directly, were they able to schedule you?

The error message still pops up. I just tried requesting a phone shop. The frustrating thing is that the same shop (listed multiple times), has the same date range and gives the same error. Although in some of the agreements it says I may have to contact the company directly, I am disabled, so I request or self assign around my health appointments. To minimize frustrating issues, I simply seek another company. PROBLEM SOLVED

It's common. Contact the scheduler.

I often get the same error and eventually give up or contact the scheduler. For now that’s all you can do besides finding another company.

Hi everyone,

As mentioned above by Mr. Andrew - the issue you described happens when a Mystery Shopping Provider sets incorrect scheduling rules on a project.

Whenever you experience such a problem, please open a support ticket and provide the details (shop ID, the dates you were trying to request, the error message, etc) since iSecretShop team cannot get the MSPs to correct their errors if they do not know about them.

Thanks!
