I live in a small town in Canada and I am pretty confident that I am the only shopper in my area. It's rare that I get new shops but recently a shop was available pretty close to where I live. I requested the shop ahead of time as I do normally. I didn't hear back from the scheduler for days so I emailed them for an update as it was getting pretty close to the shop date. I received a reply saying that I was denied the shop and it was assigned to someone else. However, the shop still shows up as being available in my area and it is now the last day for the shop. Is it normal that schedulers deny shops to users even though they have no other shoppers for the job?
Hello. Every scheduler is different. They could be looking for shoppers that have completed the same or similar shops in the past. There could be certain demographics that they are looking at. You could always email the scheduler back and ask what would make you a better candidate for the shop.
The other one may be closer to the desired demographic.
