Hi, I need help. I'm doing a casino shop right now and he restaurant closed 15 minutes early and turned me away. I do not know what to do. They said I can go to the bar and order but I do not know if tha's what the MSP will want. They don't seem to have an after hours helpline either. It's Intouch Insight.

I just saw this... Look up the guidelines on your phone. Find out exactly what the requirements are for the "restaurant." Is the bar a part of the restaurant at the casino? Or, is it a different thing altogether? Were there specific directions as to when you should visit the restaurant? Etc.

If there is not an obvious answer in the guidelines and you are already stuck on site, you can try to visit the bar and hope it works out. It will likely depend on exactly what the client wants/needs evaluated. It is nearly always the shopper's job to verify hours at a location and make sure that s/he visits in plenty of time to complete the shop as directed. Rarely would it be acceptable to arrive at a restaurant less than 30 minutes before close, so you may not get a lot of sympathy from the MSC if the restaurant closed 15 minutes early.

If the guidelines are clear that the bar is not acceptable, you are likely looking at getting the shop rejected. If that is the case, you can likely reschedule. and tray again another day.

The restaurant is part of the casino. This shop is for the entire casino and the hotel. I was late to the restaurant bc of the bar part of the shop. The guidelines say that all I have to do is be there before the restaurant closes. They've never closed early before. A whole bunch of other things went very poorly on the shop. They are getting a terrible review. I decided not to visit the bar as I already did the bar portion of the shop.

If you arrived in a reasonable amount of time to complete the shop and the actions of the casino staff led things to take far longer than they should have, you should be fine. Just make sure that you are clear with the details. Good Luck!

They had me do the restaurant shop the next day. I think it was a really good shop for them to get bc the restaurant closed early, the next day the restaurant took forever and made my food wrong, The fire alarm went off for over an hour and a half I left and it was still going off. They stopped the waffle machine at breakfast over an hour early bc they didn't feel like they had enough people. his casino is in bigggggg trouble.

Just as a matter of course, they should be paying you extra for the extra visit...

Yeah, they aren't unfortunately. These shops don't pay. The reason I do them is they reimburse $200 worth of gambling and you get to keep what you win. So, I always make money.

Depending on your luck, that could be the most profitable shop ever :)
