Worth it??

Has anyone here done travel shops? I have finally been offered one but, I'm not sure if it is worth it. With the amount of documentation do you still get to have any fun?

Not sure what you mean by travel shop? I have heard the cruise shops are very challenging but have never done one.

Meaning taking a plane to another area, doing hotel shops, and other shops in that area? I cannot seem to find any airline, bus, or train shops.

if you want to do it anyway, they would be worth it to get a new badge.

Has anyone had problems with certain shopping companies completely declining your survey due to one small error and not allow you to fix it or even explain? Then not pay or reimburse you?

I had trouble with intelli shop a couple of times. They want a purchase than return the item. I had trouble with Scheels shop. I could not find a floor manager anywhere, counted against me. I went down the checklist as wanted. Because I picked a busy time, I got ripped off. My wife and I work as a team on many assignments. We travel long distances, then do many shops. There are no redos.

I have not had a problem with not being able to redo it. They usually ask me to add the information.

I have never seen a cruise shop. Sounds interesting.

I know a MS company that does them in Canada but you only get 50% of your cost back so they sit for a long time.

I would be very wary of taking anything that requires me to make a large, upfront expenditure. If everything went as planned, that would be fine. But I would just be really afraid of some mishap that wasn’t my fault or missing some detail and having to be rejected and then now I’m left, holding the bill. I’ve just read that some of the shops are very very picky and if everything’s not perfect, you won’t be given a chance to redo it. I think it’s purposely designed like that! Because they certainly have 99% of your review, and they will definitely use it without having to pay for it.
