I was a previous shopper for In Touch and very glad they moved to this new platform! I shop in Southwestern Ontario. I am one of the few male mystery shoppers. I'm very excited with all the new opportunities here including casino shops and winery shops.
My most interesting shop was a telecom shop. The employee I was interacting with was bragging to me how the store treats him so well and they had a huge party last night. His name tag stated "Party Man". It was obvious the employee was still hung over from the night before. Needless to say, after my report (and I am sure a few customer complaints) I have never seen that employee at the store again. :-)
I second that. I want to give a huge thank you to Amanda at Intouch Insight. I have been working for with her for years before they changed their platform to isecretshop.
It depends on the company. For example - Wendy is correct for In Touch as you can reschedule but Goodwin you can't reschedule. You need to cancel your shop and request it again with the new date.
A huge thank you goes to whoever designed the iSecretShop payment spreadsheet! I just discovered this and it beats the spreadsheet I used to keep manually of shops I have completed.
Tara - I found it by accident. Click "Payments" and then click "Download". An excel spreadsheet will be downloaded. It is very detailed including locations and date you were paid!
I just got back from Montreal for vacation. I checked out the board out of curiosity while there and saw tons of transit shops. Happy shopping!
It happens to the best of us. :-( One company I used to work for was an instant termination if you did not follow guidelines exactly. The camera was reviewed after every shop. My advice is to use it as a learning experience for your next shop.
Too funny - on another board they were looking for a man to mystery shop a gentleman's club. I thought I have seen every type of mystery shop until this one.
