Some MSPs require W-9s, and some don't, but to my knowledge no MSP requires you to send one for every assignment - as far as I know, those that do ask for W-9s only ask for them once, or once a year. The most reliable way to know if to check with the MSPs themselves - you can always email them and ask :)
