I do several of these, I actually look forward to doing them. I literally asked questions and I really need to know. My uncle passed a month ago and I was well versed on the process and options available. So when we got to the actual funeral home the director wanted to know if I had researched them in the past lol.
I do have a funny story, because I accept so many of these, I accidentally accepted one for Puerto Rico and I had no clue. I kept calling back asking for someone who spoke English.
Honestly - when my mother died in 2010, we had to ship her body home to Chicago from where she lived in Florida. There was almost a month's delay between her death and the service. It was rather unprofessional of that guy - Funeral home employees are supposed to be super accommodating and kind due to the nature of the business.
