I've done several of these shops w/ no problem. Only time anything out of the ordinary happened is when the instructions said to ask for a copy of the buckslip. I had never heard of it before. (or never heard of anything called that). I read verbatim from the instructions and it took the manager about 10-15 minutes (while i was doing everything else) to figure out what it was, and then said that they hadn't used it in about two years.
I’ve done many of these but never had a problem! I enjoy these!
I've done several of these and I have not encountered any issues. Most of them are aware and familiar with the process.
I have done quite a few of these Audits and never had a problem. They are quick and easy and generally the staff members are very nice and cooperative. Don't stop doing these or be afraid to do them just because of a bad experience at one. One manager asked me for my credentials and the only thing I could give him was the letter of authorization. He didn't give me a problem after that.
That would be horrific!
I do these often. So much that in my last round (every store in my rural area) the manager said "Hey I remember you. Let's do this." We both just laughed. These are easy and fast and since the original post the audit has been streamlined a bit.
Where do I find the Letter of Authorization to print it out?
Linda - I'm not sure what Letter of Authorization you're referring to - is that something specific to a particular shop?
You can print the letter of Authorization from two places.
i find the hostility a bit surprising. A business doesn’t get mystery shoppers unless the company hires them.
