Just saying hello. I'm a 31 year old local truck driver who's now, also, a mystery shopper. I'm new to it all but learning all I can.

Hi everyone,

Newbie here. I’m not quite sure that I’m doing this right. I can’t seem to find any shops at all. I’ve even input a zip code that I know should have some shops. Can anyone tell me what I should do?

Thanks

Hi Vicki,

There has been a recent reduction in the number of available shops, due to the lockdowns and social distancing measures. If you want to see more shops, you can set the search distance filter (in the upper-left corner of the Available Shops page, above the map) to 50 or 100 miles, and click the search button (a small magnifying glass symbol in that same row) - that will show you the available shops in the wider area around you.

Also, keep in mind that some shops have specific demographic requirements, such as age or gender - for example, you can only do certain shops if you are between 21 and 27 years old, etc. If those requirements are not met, you will not be able to do the shop or see it on the Available Shops page, to prevent cluttering of that page with shops that you cannot do.

If you have questions about specific shop requirements like those and if you meet them, you should contact the MSP that posted the shop(s) in question, and their schedulers can provide you with more information on that.

I hope this helps!
