Hi, I'm a new member too. I was wondering how many new members have taken any prep courses and how many you did before doing a shop? As for me, I completed 2 courses and then did a shop. Wow, did I screw that one up! I forgot 2 things during the shop. I was so nervous! I hope the next one goes well. I think I'll wait a while though to get some more courses first.
Where do I find and print out the Letter of Authorization from the website. Help, I can't find it.
Do what ever free courses are available, on this platform as well as others you sign up with. The first couple of shops will be nerve-racking but once you realize no one is going to figure out who you are, it gets easier. I've done one phone shop, one shop and reveal, and several price audit shops. My first shop and reveal I forgot to take a selfie outside the store, but because everything else was as required, the MSC let it slide because it was my first shop with that company. Errors or omissions like that you will most likely remember the next time around. Don't wait to do more shops. I'm very new at this too, but it will only get easier by doing them and learning from your mistakes. I was very selective in the shops I applied for, so if they didn't accept my survey/report, I wouldn't have wasted a lot of time or money. As I get more comfortable, I am applying for bigger paying shops that require more detail in the surveys.
That's good advice Russel!
Linda - I'm not sure what Letter of Authorization you're referring to - is that something specific to a particular shop?
I get an email stating that there's a few available shops i want, but I don't see them available in the app. What do I do?

Thanks for the advice Russel. I admit, I have been avoiding doing another shop mainly because I read in a thread that companies will hold it against you if you mess up and won't use you again. I did take all the courses. Wish there were more to advance my knowledge. Thanks for sharing your first blunder. It helps to know that other more experienced ones started out a lot less perfect than they wanted to be too. You have renewed my confidence. :)

If you're referring to the Letter of Authorization for a revealed shop/audit, you will find it in the Guidelines - the link is in the top right corner of your Assigned Shop if you open it on your computer. I don't remember if it shows up on the mobile app.
Hope this helps for next time.

Hello! I’m supposed to be staring my first shop soon and I called the MSP for hello and guidance as this is my first time but no answer . Any suggestions?
