Hello everyone, I am Katie, I just signed up yesterday and am excited to get to work. I have a lot of pending requests, but none have been approved. Can anyone tell me how long I will have to wait to start my first shop? A little bit about me, I am 44 years old and have only had one job where I worked remotely from home. It was a company called Roltak based out of Los Angeles, CA. I was a Retail Inventory Specialist, the job was easy and the pay was great...the only problem I had with this company and the job, was that they ended up being a fake company, I am pretty sure I was performing an illegal act working for them and they never paid me for my work. So, that was my first, and so far only work from home joib. I am very leary about online companies and work from home positions now. I was told I would be making a little over $3500/month working for them. So I rented a new apartment, put a down payment on a new used vehicle, borrowed money from my father, and had a lot of other plans lined up to better my life and situation. Needless to say, I lost the apartment and that is now a negative marking on my credit, that I worked hard to build back up, I lost my new used vehicle and the down payment,, I could not pay my father back, my credit went down, and I lost my section 8 and food stamps because of these people. I am hoping that I find better experiences in the near future. Anyway, sorry to unload all of that on to you nice folks. I hope you all have a great time working on these shops. Hi! Sorry all that has a happen to you. Hopefully you will be assigned a shop soon. Have you completed any of the free certifications offered on the ISS site. Also, have you created a profile with MSPA? These things may be bale to help you secure some shops. Best of luck!
