For those who have done Field Inspections, what has your experience been like?

There is no making mistakes with Field Inspections like there is with these shops. If you mess up a shop, you can always go back and add something. The field inspections they offer are overseen by the FDA so only do them if you are very detail oriented because if you mess up, you'll have to answer to them. You also are scheduling to meet people often times in their homes so make sure that sort of thing doesn't freak you out. That being said, I love field inspections, it's one of my favorite contractor gigs.

Thanks for the info. Do you need any special training to do the inspections? What do you like about them?

Yes, most companies provide self-guided training.

ComplyTraq, PhotoInspection.com, GCS, PFS, MTI, Information Providers, IPI, ProxyPics and there's a million more. It really all depends on where you live, and some companies want you to have at least 1 yr experience before onboarding you as an independent contractor. Some companies don't accept applications they only recruit. My best suggestion is to research, read blogs and use google to help you find the companies and websites that are relevant to your state and actually have work in your county.
