Good Morning, My name is Alex im new to this the secret shopper world. Quick question how long does it take before your assigned a project. Are they any tips or ideas that you can give to a beginner.

Welcome! I don't think it should take you too long, but it will definitely be easier for you to get more assignments once you've successfully completed a few. I don't think anyone on here gets assigned every shop that they apply to.

Alex, this really depends on your area. The more you apply to the more chances you'll have to be accepted. The more shops you complete with a high ranking I think the better chance you'll have of getting more based on that ranking. Web/phone shops are rough though from experience I applied to no joke about 20 of them before I finally got one. For the in person shops, I look for ones that have multiple shops in my area then if you're accepted to one just Email the scheduler and offer to take on more from them. My first week I ended up with eight shops just from doing that and putting myself out there.
