I downloaded the mission scanner app, but not sure what I need to use to sign in? Also, where can I locate the iSecretShop scanner? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
For the Mission Scanner app, the MSP should provide you with your login information.
Let us now how that scanner thing works out for you. I have several available in my area, but spending that long in the store... I'd have to be pretty hungry considering I did five shops on Thursday that each paid out $100+ each.

Care to elaborate?

So BARE is paying $0.06 per scan, but if you're going for their proposed $150 per shop at usually either Walmart of Costco/Sams Club it translates to 2,500 different items you're scanning. Which is just over 312 items per hour or around 5 items per minute if you're doing an eight hour day. I'm thinking that $150 would involve probably closer to ten hours of doing the shop, but semi curious as to how other people who have taken those assignments like them. It still would work out to between $15-$18/hr so potentially worth it if you didn't have a regular job and took on enough of them to replace your income from an employer.
On the other hand, I did five KIA shops last Saturday just taking test drives and filling out reports when I got back home. for a total minus drive time to the different dealerships an hour away from my home for just over $500 total and they averaged 30-40 minutes each. Total time spent would be comparable to one of the scan shops due to the driving and I did need to stop for gas once on the way back home. Apartment shops are normally 45 minutes or so and the better ones pay out $50, then there's one of the Porsche ones that was doing $75 to test drive a Taycan that did take an hour.
So if I'm off on my math on the eight hour day in Walmart/Costco and the shop only lasts something like an hour or two, I'd be willing to give it a shot. If it's an 8 hour day... I normally wouldn't have that much time available to sit in the store doing that unless I didn't have anything else going on for the weekend.
