If she says don't count yourself, why say 2? Most companies want you to count yourself for some reason.

I've been working during the entire pandemic and surprisingly I worked more hours than before.
Pretty sure this is fake news.

I would suggest never doing there again. If the audit was bad you may want to move to another state.
Be careful to not cause schedulers any inconvenience. They would sooner delete you as work with you.
Make sure if you select a shop you do it. Schedulers have short fuses and don't like it when you drop shops. Remember that you have to account for all your earnings and add them to your income at tax time.

I lost my "real" job because of Covid and do not want a full time job. I started mystery shopping on June 4 and have put $4000 in the bank +lots of free food. It is very very time consuming and takes an abundance of organization. It isn't for everyone and it ends up being much less than minimum wage. However, you work on your own schedule, you work and choose times and opportunities that interest you and you have varied experiences. The money flows in at different times, so it is unreliable if you need it instantly. Sign up for a lot of different companies in order to have choices on a regular basis. I have companies that I have done only one or two shops for in four months because they have little to offer and companies that only offer a choice that I can't repeat for 3-6 or12 months. I hope this is helpful. Incidentally, I am a young 75 and the stories I can tell are enjoyable and better than watching tv or going shopping and spending money with lots of free time. Good luck and have fun. Just remember you have to add this to your income and pay tax at years end.
Mystery shopping is good side income. have fun and keep in mind you are not taxed and must add it at years end. Can be a real chunk if your not prepared.
360 sent me an email on a Sunday stating my report was missing info even though it was accepted. Gave me till 5 that Sunday to send back. Out of town that weekend. Lost my shop as I didn't think to see emails on the weekend. Is that common accepted practice?
JEFFRI @ Feb 10, 2020, 2:05:11 PMOnly do those shops at a place you want to go to or you’re subsidizing their business. Not the tax expert but an expense reimbursement is not income.
Thanks Jeff. Most tax people are scared of the mystery shopping thing.
