I have done many, many casino shops over the last several years, mostly in large resorts with hotels. The number of interactions depends on whether or not it is a shift visit, an overnight stay, or a 2-night stay, or more. A shift visit might have10-15 interactions. An overnight stay would have from 25-40 interactions. A 2-night stay would have about 60 interactions. Some interactions take less than a minute (Security Person), some 20-30 minutes (table games), and others (fine dining) could take over an hour.
Use your desktop or laptop pc to enter shops whenever possible. Websites almost always work better than the phone apps. iSS app has never been completely dependable all the time. Sometimes, I cannot upload a photo using the phone app. If you feel you MUST submit your shops vis your phone, consider using your phone's browser to navigate to the submission website for the shop. iSS website looks and works differently than their website.
Carine, you will still be your own boss while mystery shopping in NV. You can choose your jobs just as in other states, but you will need a NV work card which costs around $125 for 5 years.

These casino shops sound like fun.
They are fun mostly for your guest. You will be busy working and collecting data, and it may often seem that you have more interactions to do than time in which to do them. However, the food is generally a satisfying perk in the larger resorts.
To give you an idea, I am halfway through reputation level 7 and shop full time. At my progress rate, I do not expect to achieve level 10 for at least 5-6 more years. It takes a lot of shops to increase reputation level.
No, it has never happened here until the pandemic of 2020. Whenever there are no shops in your area, you might want to try entering a zip code of another area and hitting the search button.
If I ever do a video shop with a smartphone (some companies allow it now), I put my smartphone in my shirt pocket to record the video. I clip a pen on the right side of my pocket to make the phone angle toward center. It takes a little practice first. I use the PV 500 for most video shops. It is worth the cost if you like to shop travel routes.
It depends upon the company, not on isecretshop. NV and some non-NV companies will pay via direct deposit.
