Help with scanners!

Let us now how that scanner thing works out for you. I have several available in my area, but spending that long in the store... I'd have to be pretty hungry considering I did five shops on Thursday that each paid out $100+ each.

Payment Questions

Brenda,

If that Email address still exists and you have access to it, you can update the password and withdraw your funds to a legitimate account. If not, you need to update your information on here ASAP, but once a payment has been submitted, there's not anything the sender can do.

Payment Questions

Hello,
What is the payment cycle?

Hello,
I don't know the pay schedule. It seems like forever to get paid. Forty-five days is longer than the military pay schedule.

Hey Bruce, the ISS site lets the different places make up their own schedules unlike most of the other places. Personally, I've stopped taking nearly as many shops off ISS because of this and have moved on to a few others that have a standard cycle for their payments as it seems more reliable first of all, and second the different jobs end up paying out more. This last week I spent doing seven different vehicle test rides at or close to $100/each and know exactly when I'll be paid. The schedulers from this site, I'm only taking either new ones or the ones I know will pay out in a very reasonable period of time and enjoy working with.

Care to elaborate?

So BARE is paying $0.06 per scan, but if you're going for their proposed $150 per shop at usually either Walmart of Costco/Sams Club it translates to 2,500 different items you're scanning. Which is just over 312 items per hour or around 5 items per minute if you're doing an eight hour day. I'm thinking that $150 would involve probably closer to ten hours of doing the shop, but semi curious as to how other people who have taken those assignments like them. It still would work out to between $15-$18/hr so potentially worth it if you didn't have a regular job and took on enough of them to replace your income from an employer.

On the other hand, I did five KIA shops last Saturday just taking test drives and filling out reports when I got back home. for a total minus drive time to the different dealerships an hour away from my home for just over $500 total and they averaged 30-40 minutes each. Total time spent would be comparable to one of the scan shops due to the driving and I did need to stop for gas once on the way back home. Apartment shops are normally 45 minutes or so and the better ones pay out $50, then there's one of the Porsche ones that was doing $75 to test drive a Taycan that did take an hour.

So if I'm off on my math on the eight hour day in Walmart/Costco and the shop only lasts something like an hour or two, I'd be willing to give it a shot. If it's an 8 hour day... I normally wouldn't have that much time available to sit in the store doing that unless I didn't have anything else going on for the weekend.

This really depends on the shop honestly. For the apartment shops, I normally ask the leasing person at least one pretty dumb question to see what their reaction is, especially when it comes to them overcoming an objection. On my last one I asked her if they had a model unit available to see because I'd be moving without any furniture and I'm terrible with decorating, but want to get back into dating so I'd like the place to look nice if I end up meeting someone. Just small talk really, but as someone that works with the public... I get asked some really off the wall questions weekly so I think it would add to the persona of you being an average person and not someone grading them which might actually ruin the shop.

Shipping Shops

Interesting... if I saw one, I'd probably go for it if it was a real thing. I'm on four different platforms, but haven't seen one of those yet on any of them.

Unfriended by Cirrus for holding them to their own MSP

Renee_17094235612649 @ May 19, 2024, 8:39:37 PM
I am going to contact the BBB because apparently that is the only way to get paid. When you wait 90 days for a $35 apartment shop, by the time you get the money, it's like you did the shop for free. There are plenty of higher paying, less time consuming jobs, with better MSPs who pay 45 days maximum. iSS really should not allow them to advertise their jobs here. Cirrus was my 3rd job ever and I am so glad that they did something really weird with another job I was supposed to do and I had already decided not to do any more work for them. They are completely unorganized and apparently unethical as well.

You'll more than likely get paid out, but then when you log back in you just won't see any more of their posts which is sort of nice because it just removes the clutter from jobs you didn't really want anyway. I'd also let ISS know they they're breaking their own contract just to to let them know. If enough people complain, hopefully Cirrus will get the idea and either fix the issues or stop posting their jobs here.

hey i just completed like 4 jobs and wondering why my payment hasn't gone through? where do i send the w9 and who can i contact?

Go to the assignments tab and see if it's even been accepted yet. If it has, go to the payments and it'll tell you when the MSP normally pays out. Most of the places just as a heads up end up delaying payment by a month across all the platforms. I think the fastest I ever got paid was three days and slowest so far was 45 days.

How do I get certified

https://issprep.com/shopper/user/login is the direct link for the certification part. It's also at the top of the ISS web page for ISS prep certifications.

Need help, how this site work?

You need to be much more specific on what exactly you're asking here. I mean technically the site works off a database and functions more like a bidding website powered by HTML... which function are you actually asking about though?
