I agree. They pop up here and there, but perhaps other shoppers are grabbing them first? Keep a lookout this coming week: hopefully more are coming up! :)
I actually have a quick question for those of you who have more experience here. Right now I am able to self assign 4 at a time. My main reputation level is 3. It took me forever to get here and I'm proud of it lol! For those of you who have a reputation rank/badge higher than 3, what self assign limit do they allow you to go up to as you progress? I'm so curious to see how much more I can do in the future. Thank you!
Thanks guys! What happened was on my LinkedIn account I get tons of messages from people I worked with over the years. I was a mortgage underwriter and Processor for 15 years. So I have tons of connections. Anyway someone reached out to me asking where I disappeared to lol. I let them know I have taken a break from the hectic banking world, and mentioned I do mystery shopping and merchandising. They asked if I could send them a link to sign up because they were temporarily unemployed and needed to make some cash. So I sent them the isecretshop referral link, and a couple days later they emailed me thanking me and said they signed up. So it took about two weeks total for me to receive the recruiter badge. It was a random thing that happened. Cool though!
I am getting really frustrated with the time it is taking to try and apply for shops that are listed as available only to pop up as taken. It's really starting to take a toll on my patience. Why can't available shops just show dates available? Why do we have to play the guessing game when trying to apply for available shops? 98% of the 220+ available web and phone shops listed as available right now actually aren't available. It takes me literally at least an hour to go through the web and phone shops just to find out most if not all are already scheduled and not available. Why do we have to go clicking through every date listed as available on each shop just to get a pop up stating "Another shopper is already assigned to perform this shop, please choose a date x days apart"?
I've actually stopped trying to apply for shops at the end of the month as soon as I see the pop ups starting because it so time consuming and fruitless.
I know people in this forum have suggested emailing the scheduler/msp and just request one of the available shops. I've done that especially this past week and never got a reply. I know they're crazy busy at this time of month but seriously this is really a problem.
Thanks for listening to me vent! I know I'm a bit cranky right now but I'm trying to apply for shops which should be the easy part and it's turning into the hardest.

Awesome! I can't wait! However I am realizing it takes a lot longer to reach 100% on level 3 than it did on level 2 lol! I can only imagine how many shops I'll have to complete to get to those higher levels. I love the challenge though!
