Good advice for any shoppers. Double check everything in your shop stuff before completing it. Happy shopping
New MSP are being added all of the time. Perhaps Ellis will consider isecretshop as one of their platforms to get new shoppers. As of now, I do not see them listed, There are other clients and MSP on iss that does home shops. Hope this follow up helps.
All of the above shoppers are correct. Don't invest $$$ in any courses unless they are required by the MSP. iSS has 2 excellent beginner videos to start with, and they are free!! MSPA has silver and gold certification courses which will also give you starter information, if you want that. However, most MSP on iSS don't use those courses, but other non-iSS clients might. The Mystery Shop Forum is an excellent resource to research those other shopping companies. Hope this update helps.
A continuous, and consistent record of approved shops is also of great value. Once schedulers and editors see your good work, then it will become much easier to get those web and phone shops. Hope this helps
The longer a shopper works with a specific MSP and does outstanding work for them, the easier it will be to get those shops that disappear before you even login. Schedulers and editors notices these things. It does make a difference. Keep plugging away.
Sometimes the initial instructions and the shopper guidelines can vary slightly and be confusing. Once you get a shop be sure to read everything from top to bottom. And of course, follow up with the MSP. Think of the guidelines as a treasure map, there is gold in that there shop. You just have to wait for it. Ha. Happy shopping
It is nothing more than data entry software. Excel would be a fine example to use. You might have to educate yourself a bit if you want the spreadsheet to extrapolate data from other sources like the iSS spreadsheet does with shops and shoppers. Best to just input this stuff manually. Save yourself the headache(s) unless you are experienced in this area. Hope this helps.
And, unfortunately, if anybody is interested, there is no way to override or increase you self-assign limit at each level. Currently, the software is designed to only permit the designated self-assign limits. Keep working and ranking. You'll get there. Have fun, too.
Wow! All of the bases are covered in this thread! Follow all of this advice and you'll be glad you did. I can only say go for it! Happy shopping
The Mystery Shop Forum is an excellent resource. Another is MSPA which also lists good and legitimate platforms to work with. Happy searching
