Dinner/lunch shops

There are some shops where children are required to even do the shop, No child, no shop. One recent example is a Science museum which requires a food purchase from the museum cafe, but the order must be from the children's menu. This is but one of a few examples of such shops that I see where I live. Happy shopping

Self assign limit 2?

FYI, declining a shop now gives you - 30 points. Must have increased since that above other posts.

Figuring it all out

Yes, don't dive into the shopper pool, only to find out that you drowning. Start with 1 in a specific group, and get a feel for it. If it works out great, hop in; if not, don't play dodgeball. Better to have a good and sound reputation than a scheduler who might not give you a second look. Happy shopping

That is a very good point. Many contributors on the forum have echoed the sentiment "I'd like to have more shops." "I've requested shops and have not gotten them."

Some contributors have said to request all of the available shops listed. That's a great idea EXCEPT in one situation: IF you get ALL of them. Say the shop is ordering pizza from ABC Pizza. It's an upscale pizza shop and you love their pizza. You've done a shop for ABC in the past and the MSP recognizes it. You have requested the other 7 available shops, and the MSP gives them all to you. What happens? I like pizza too, but ....?

Sometimes, the caveat might be the better valor. This shopper suggests may requesting half or less the number of your favorite or other available shops. This way, there is no burnout for you, the shopper, or the MSP and client. Just a passing thought for this thread on the iSS forum.

Shopper Code

Every shopper has an iSS ID code when they start or sign up. After that, there is no specific shopper identification. Even with the new Get Verified feature, there is no new code to provide as part of the verification process. Happy shopping

Searching is as half of the fun as doing the actual shopping.

Independant Contractor

No, I do not believe the Mystery Shopper is considered because you are not paying taxes on your shopper income; therefore, you are not paying into unemployment.

New Here.

Follow the instruction precisely as outlined in your phone instructions. Be sure to have the call recorded using the recorded line, pretend to be what you are supposed to be asking for yourself or the soon-to-be deceased. Most important, ask questions of your MSP before doing anything if you have a concern. Good luck.
