Hey everyone, since my last post, I have discovered a wonderful way to get those fun phone shops. Ask a scheduler at the MSP. Lol, but true. One MSP I work for will give me a few. Work with the MSP long enough and do good shops for them, then you'll be in the running for web and phone shops. Happy shopping
Hi Candace,
Hope your situation has improved since you started shopping. Sometimes you have to work with an MSP fir a while so that they can see your quality of work for them before they will give you a requested shoo. It happened with me when I started. Calling the schedulers and letting them know you are interested in a specific shop also helps. Happy continued shopping.
Hang in there everybody. New clients and MSP are always being added. Several new ones have been added recently. It takes time and we shoppers have to patient. I know, the same shops most of the time can get boring, but it does good to have that extra $$$ come in. Happy shopping
As for points, if you want t know how may point you have currently, there are two ways to get a reliable estimate. However, this is only for completed shops.
A. Open up the shop spreadsheet that listed your completed shops and then multiply by 20 (each shop is awarded 20 points) = total number of points.
B. If you have the Globetrotter badge, click on it and you will see the number of completed shops. Multiply by 20 then equals your total points. Happy counting
Just a reminder, use the phone number in the shop instructions, not the Call button at the top of the guidelines (otherwise the call will not be recorded). Happy calling
Shoppers make mistakes too. As Ivan has said, we can only do our best. However, when we can, it is best to read every line in the guidelines just in case one of those "just in case"s happens. Hope this helps our newer shoppers since this thread was last read.
Yes, the MSP is always the initial and continuing point of contact for their posted shops. An update to this thread for newbie shoppers.
Not so many viniventures where I am at. Some bar shops and occasional fine dining. Hey, more clients being added all the time.
Yeah, I did a couple of those shops and didn't like them. I bought an item and dined while I read the menus and took the pictures. I had a grumpy manager who tossed the menus on the table and walked away. I got the idea that too many shoppers had been visiting and reported the matter to the MSP. They agreed and I have not seen that location posted for a while. Always talk to the MSP about these photo shops. They can be tricky. Hope this helps.
