Hey Y'all!! Newbie from Memphis here

Hi Teresa,

If a shop that you submitted was approved, it should show up under your Payments tab, regardless of any other factor (date completed, date approved, date of payment, w-9, etc). However, some shops can take a while to be approved - you can keep track of all shops that are pending approval on your Assigned Shops page, under "Submitted Assignments - Pending Approval".

If a shop that you submitted is neither there nor on the Payments tab, it means it was declined. If you want to confirm this, you can open a support ticket to iSecretShop, list the shop ID number, and you'll get the info on the shop status.

Cheers!

Location closed

Hi Deondra,

This depends on the shop itself - for example, when it comes to those popular cellphone shops, there are literally tens of thousands of locations in the system (updated every few months), and those stores constantly close, change places, relocate, etc - every day. Therefore, the guidelines on those shops have very specific instructions to prevent shoppers from going to a closed location - shoppers should first find the store on the official carrie's website (store locator), then call the store phone number listed there to verify the address and hours - if the store is not found on that website, or if they can't be reached by phone, shoppers should contact the schedulers right away and NOT proceed with the shop (nor enter anything in the report). The shop then gets canceled with no points penalty, and the location is removed from the system.

On some other shops, where the number of locations is smaller (restaurants, car dealerships, etc), and all locations are generally expected to be open, you should still contact the schedulers and let them know if this happens, but there might be some compensation involved in that case.

Cheers!

Dates on calendar mixed up

Hi Michelle - where are you seeing this, when picking a date for a shop?

Dates on calendar mixed up

Well, I would recommend opening a support ticket the next time you notice this - include a screenshot, shop ID, exactly what actions are you taking when it happens, etc - and the devs will look into it :)

Indeed.

As I've mentioned on another thread, we have received similar reports from various people lately, who have received letters from "Prism Intelligence" with checks for $2,300, claiming that the project has something to do with WalMart.

These letters and checks did not come from Prim Intelligence (or other MSPs in the iSS system) - this is a scam. Please do not give these people any identifying information, and you should absolutely not cash in, deposit, or otherwise negotiate the item in any way.

Prism Intelligence is a legitimate company, and the only mystery shopping opportunities offered by it are offered via the iSecretShop platform - it does not not send out any letters and checks, nor request any advanced payments. You can find legitimate mystery shopping opportunities offered by Prism Intelligence on the iSecretShop website - other sources claiming to be Prism Intelligence opportunities should always be verified as it may be a potential scam, such as this one.

Sometimes unfortunately, an MSP's good name is being used fraudulently by scammers trying to rip off good people.Several months ago, another MSP's name was used in a nearly identical scam, and last year, yet another MSP's name. It's always good to be cautious.

Cheers!
