Newbie

Hello,

You can find any project specific certification that you have a code for on www.iSSprep.com - simply login using the same credentials you use to access iSecretShop, then enter the course code in the search field and click "Search".

I hope this helps!

Dead ringer funeral home calls

Hi Tatiana,

You can find the quiz by going to www.iSSprep.com. Login with the same credentials you use to login to iSecretShop, and enter DR1313 in the only search bar there. You should then be able to see and do the course.

Recorded call problem

Hi Tara,

iSecretShop has changed the vendor that's used for recording the phone calls, in order to improve the quality of the recordings and get some new features. With the new vendor came a new way of making the recordings - you now enter your phone number in the box in the instructions, and click "Call Now" - the system then calls you and connects you with the appropriate location, records the call and uploads the recording.

As this change was relatively recent, there could be some minor snags/issues that get discovered - if you happen to experience any problems, open a support ticket and it will be looked into.

Merry Christmas!

Just Wanted To Say "Hi"

Hello Ramond!

Here is how the system works:

-Once you log into iSecretShop, go to the "Available Shops" page (for regular shops) or "Web and Telephone Shops" page (for shops that can be done from home), and browse the shops that are posted.

-When you see the one you are interested in, you click "View Details" and it will open a pop-up window with all the information on the shop.

-Then, you can either self-assign that shop, or click "Request shop" to submit a request for a specific date. The schedulers are frequently reviewing these requests, so it should be approved soon.

*If you are prompted to sign the iSecretShop Terms of Use or the Mystery Shopping Provider's contract first, you can do so on the "Provider Contracts and Policies" page.

*If you are prompted to enter your PayPal email address, you may do so on the "Update Extended Profile" page.

-Once you have a shop assigned to you, you can always view it on the "Assigned Shops" page - there you can see all shops you have assigned, and can click "Complete Shop" on any of them to see the full shop information, the shop instructions, the questions, or/and fill out the shop report.

-If you have any questions about a particular shop, you can always contact the MSP that posted it, and their schedulers/editors will be happy to help.

-When you are done filling out the shop report - you click "Finalize Shop" to submit it - it will be reviewed to editors and either approved, or returned to you for additional information (if so, it will appear back in your "Assigned Shops" page).

-After the shop is approved, you can communicate with the MSP regarding your payment for that shop.

I hope this helps.

Hello from UK / ServiceMeasure converts

Hi everyone, I just wanted to pitch in with some advice and clarifications.

Regarding your Reputation badge level and having access to more shops - these two things are not related. The way the iSecretShop system was designed is to allow as many people as possible to have access to as many shops as possible. This means that the Available Shops page will show you all the shops that you can do, regardless of your level, experience, or time on the platform. The only shops which could be hidden from you are those that you couldn't perform due to basic demographic requirements, like age or gender.

Regarding changing the distance at which you see shops, you can set the search distance filter (in the upper-left corner of the Available Shops page, above the map, on the desktop website) to a greater distance than the default, and click the search button (a small magnifying glass symbol in that same row) - that will show you the available shops in the wider area around you.

There have been talks about the possibility of increasing the maximum distance even more, but this could cause system-wide slowdowns, as there are over a million registered shoppers on iSS, and tens of thousands of open shops at any given moment, so loading large numbers of them could slow the system down - and being able to offer a smooth and easy user experience is one of the priorities of any software company.
