One year late, but welcome to the iSecretShop Forum and community! :) How have your experiences been so far?
I believe this may be in reference to completing an iSSprep certification for a specific MSP, or filling out some information on the Extended Profile, in order to qualify for completing that MSP's shops. If I'm wrong and something else is the case, I'd also love to know what :)
Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know there are two new courses available on iSSprep.com.
The first one is "SafeAudit Certification", designed to ensure awareness of the health and safety measures required for performing on-site evaluations during the pandemic.
The second one is "iSS 103 - Advanced Features of iSS", which is meant to expand on the knowledge in iSS 101 and 102, and explain some of the features that have been developed over the years, which shoppers can take advantage of.
Both of these are free, don't take long to do, and both award shopper points upon successful completion.
I hope you find them useful, and feel free to discuss if anything is unclear :)
Hi Amy, and welcome to the Forum and to iSecretShop!
I would suggest going to www.iSSprep.com, and completing the free courses there - they will explain the iSecretShop platform, the mobile app, and the various features you can take advantage of. They will also award you shopper points, boosting your rank.
After that, you can check out the following thread: https://www.secretshopforum.com/thread/1/2/94/pro-tips-for-those-who-want-to-be-the-best-shoppers#post528
There's a bunch of tips & tricks there that can be helpful.
Cheers!
Hi Alan,
Welcome to the Forum and to iSecretShop!
You can find available shops on the Available Shops page. Many of them allow for self-assigning, meaning that you don't have to wait at all, you canjust schedule yourself immediately, for a date that suites you. After you reach your self-assign limit (and also in case of shops that can't be self-assigned), a Request gets submitted instead. Under normal circumstances, those requests are reviewed and approved regularly, so the waiting time ranges from a few minutes, hours, or in some cases days. It varies from MSP to MSP, from project to project, and other factors too.
Under the current circumstances, things may be different - many projects have been put on hold, there are fewer shops overall, etc. If you feel like your shop request has been sitting unapproved for too long, you can reach out to the MSP that posted the shop and let them know you've requested the shop, and inquire about the getting it approved.
I hope this helps!
Hi Mark,
Due to the current pandemic, there are many areas where shops have temporarily been suspended, but keep checking the Available Shops page from time to time, as they should slowly be reinstated in the upcoming period.
