Greg, I think some default recording apps have a recording limit set at a certain value - like 5 minutes or 8 minutes, and they cut the recording off at that time. There may be a way to remove that limit in the app settings - although that really depends on the app itself. Also, if your phone memory is low, the recording will stop at the moment it fills up all the space - although that's rarely the case with the modern phones.
I would just search the Google Play store for keywords like "recording" or "voice recording", and then download the most popular/highly rated app from the results :)
Lauren - if you need to record phone calls for shops on iSecretShop, you don't need any apps for that at all - the process is automated. You call the number provided in the guidelines, you then enter the shop ID number when prompted, and the system does the rest - it will record your phone call automatically, and it will upload it to your shop report as soon as you hang up. This is of course, only available on Recorded Phone Call shops.
Cheers!
Welcome to iSecretShop, and to the forum! If you have any questions or need any help - we're here :)
Those are excellent points!
You can try completing the free courses on iSSprep - they will earn you points, and give you some additional insights into the system.
Also, you can try contacting the MSPs that posted the shops which brought you negative points (the declined or cancelled ones), explain the situation, and ask if they would be willing to restore your points (since they have the ability to do so), or to assign some new shops to you.
Cheers!
Marie,
I hope everything worked out fine. I would also suggest reaching out to the MSP that posted the shop if you ever have any questions about getting their shops scheduled - so their schedulers can provide you with info and help you out.
Hi Jeffrey,
Carletta is right - shops on iSecretShop are, by default, due by midnight of the assigned date, unless specified otherwise in the shop details. If the reports are not started by them, the system considers them overdue, and unasigns automatically the following morning if they're still not done.
As for negative points - the MSP that posted the shop has the ability to restore them, if they deem it appropriate, so I'd reach out to them about that too.
You gain new points primarily by successfuly completing shops, but also by doing Opinion Polls on iSecretShop, and completing courses on iSSprep.
Cheers!
