Fairly new to the group.

Hi Claire,

As MFJohnston said - the Independant Contractor's agreement for the MSP will contain that MSPs payment policy, where you see when to expect the payment. You can also contact the MSP directly and ask.

Cheers!

Ok trying to figure this out?? Help

Hi Casie,

Some shops have attached files that contain specific guidelines, instructions, a specific scenario, etc. On the desktop website, those files should be available as attachments on the shop page, and if I recall correctly, they should be either at the bottom of the page or above the sections.

If there are no attachments at all and the shop details indicate that there should be some, then I suggest reaching out to the schedulers and asking - perhaps they forgot to include the file when setting up the shop.

Cheers!

Hi Natalie,

If a shop has been set up to allow for additional attachments, you will have to option to do so on the shop page. If it was not, then all you cna do is sent the files to the editors, and they can add them manually during editing.

Ok trying to figure this out?? Help

Hi Christina,

You can find all shops that are assigned to you on the Assigned Shops page.

As for the shops you requested and are awaiting for those requests to be approved by schedulers, you can find those on the Requests page.

I hope this helps!

Scam secret shop

Exactly - this is a known scam.

You can look up another example (as well as some advice on how to figure out a potential scam), on the following thread: https://www.secretshopforum.com/thread/3/6/333/warning-scam#post1900

Hello fellow 'Shoppers'!!

Hi Samantha, and welcome! The simplest advice I would give is to just follow the guidelines, and reach out to the schedulers of you have any questions about anything. Oh, and have fun while you're at it! :)

You can find a bunch of useful tips and advice on the following thread, so I hope that helps too: https://www.secretshopforum.com/thread/1/2/94/pro-tips-for-those-who-want-to-be-the-best-shoppers#post528

Reputation Rank

Hi Joanne, Kevin,

To answer your question, the maximum level of the Reputation badge is level 10, and it's the only badge currently that goes up to that level - for all other badges, the maximum level is 5.

The shoppers at the highest levels of the Reputation badge are those that routinely complete large numbers of shops, and for many of them, secret shopping is a full-time occupation. They most often live in ares where large numbers of same, relatively low-effort shops are available regularly (gas station shops, compliance shops, price audits, etc.) - they then "specialize" in those, starting with a few at a time, and after a while completing dozens of them every week/month. On such shops, schedulers are comfortable assigning large numbers of them to a reliable shopper regularly, so they do sometimes assign the shops to a shopper directly, without making the shops visible on the Available Shops page.

Alternatively, there is also a cool scheduling feature in the system that some MSPs utilize - when setting up their shops, they can apply a scheduling rule allowing shoppers with a specific level of a specific badge to bypass their self-assign limit when self-assigning those shops. So, for example, if your Price Audit badge is at level 3 or higher, you can self-assign an unlimited number of their Price Audit shops.
