One of my first mystery shops over 20 years ago. I completed a mystery shop and totally forgot I had my work name badge on! This was before every store had video cameras so he had my full name and description. My shop was rejected. Lesson learnt!
Recent story did a bar evolution. Server came right up to me and used my name without asking me. She made sure everything was perfect this time! LOL

I was a regional manager for a bank and had to call a sample of customers for feedback on service in my branches and ask them to score out of 10. Most people would say 8 or 9 and when I’d ask what the staff member could have done better to get a 10 they’d say they couldn’t have done any more but they would never give a 10!
The scores counted towards the staff bonus scheme so I’m sure that’s why they ask you.
I always try to give a 10 unless something substantial went wrong. I had a feeling a bonus was attached.

Meaning taking a plane to another area, doing hotel shops, and other shops in that area? I cannot seem to find any airline, bus, or train shops.
I know a MS company that does them in Canada but you only get 50% of your cost back so they sit for a long time.

I did a shop at a gas station recently and saw a drug deal, a car accident, and was offered "protection". Don't mind doing this shops during the day I just need to look at my map before I go :P
Same thing kind of happened to me. Gas station looked sketchy so just left and did not complete the shop. I let my scheduler know.
Here of course and I like SQM as well for some unique shops.
At one point, there was mystery shopping company just for seniors but long gone now. I have been a mystery shopper for over 20 years. Start off slow, follow instructions carefully and you will be fine. Happy shopping!
Don't worry about it. You should still get paid. If not, ask your MS company why the person did not do perfectly if they knew you were the shopper. Kind of funny as did a nursing home shop and still get calls every quarter to see if my Mom is ready to move in!
Ontario shop where you bring back your empties to the beer store. It is pretty obvious you are shopper as need a receipt for your returns and need an item like a pop bottle that is not returned. LOL
