This drives me nuts being a long time mystery shopper. New company gets mystery shopping jobs and they drop the pay. Good luck getting anyone to complete some of the remote locations.

I have only not been paid twice in 20 years! Once was I had my work name badge on so he knew my full name and reported me. LOL The second one was a fast food joint. Cameras saw I gave my food to my partner and did not eat myself. This was correct so did not contest it.

Just curious if anyone out of the state of Nevada, has completed this to become a mystery shopper? A scheduler told me you don't need to live in Nevada to be a licensed private investigator.

I get into Michigan locations without a membership as just say (and sometimes do) purchase alcohol. By Michigan law, you don't need a membership to do this. :-) Obviously, if purchase is required for the shop, you will be out of luck.

I will never do these again. I sent to the wrong zone and did not get paid. As mentioned, a new company took over and pays less in reimbursement and pay. Good luck finding shoppers! :-)

The part that makes me laugh is when you get notified that they knew who the mystery shopper is. If that is the case, why didn't you get perfect? Some stores review the video after the report is completed, so easy to tell at that point.
